Jailer, a Tamil action thriller starring the legendary Rajinikanth, took the Indian film industry by storm upon its release.

 Jailer is a Nelson Dilipkumar’s movie that revolves around a typical storyline of a retired jailor Muthuvel Pandian who is tricked to work again to deal with a dangerous group. The presence of simple and tuk Band tunes and lively background score enhanced the film like a dimension and the songs were a rage. These Hindi versions of the songs were also appreciated to the same extent, thus adding to the visibility of the film even more. 

 The Indian film industry got a turning point when the Jailer was translated into Hindi. This proved that with good content the movie can do well in other regions further proving that there was a call for quality work. It also provided a glimpse into the existing craze for Rajinikanth even today he is a cultural figure and not to be taken lightly.
